Culinare One Touch Electric Jar Opener

Okay, this is a short post but this “One Touch” electric jar opener from Culinare is the most awesome kitchen gadget I have seen for a while. As you can see in my video below you basically put the device on the top centred on the lid and hold down the button and wait. I have tried a large number of jars, bottles and tins and I haven’t found one it can’t open yet – it even opens bottles as below that have sealed tops. I have also tried it on a wet slippy mayonnaise lid which anyone can have trouble with and it opened it with ease. The only negative point I have is that the catch for the AA battery slots is a little fiddly otherwise it’s an awesome kitchen gadget particularly for people who for any reason find it hard to open jars or bottles.
