\nHere is an insight into my Tron Legacy Movie Poster design where I explain the design inspiration, elements and details for my creation (wallpaper downloads at the end of the post).<\/p>\n

Just a few days ago at Comic Con 2009<\/a>, Tron Legacy (Tron 2) 3D was finally revealed for a 2010 release. I have been a big fan of Tron, which was a truely ground breaking film at its time and to this day is still great to watch.<\/p>\n

Official Synopsis of Tron Legacy<\/h2>\n

Tron Legacy<\/a> is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that\u2019s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (GARRETT HEDLUND), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (JEFF BRIDGES), looks into his father\u2019s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin\u2019s loyal confidant (OLIVIA WILDE), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.<\/p>\n

Design Inspiration from Tron Legacy<\/h2>\n

Tron Legacy is very much in keeping with the original Tron film but has been brough bang up to date with cutting edge CGI. The film is oozing with inspirational parts from the landscape, costume and vehicles. There are some very key points from the trailer though which I would like to pick out as very iconic parts to the film itself.<\/p>\n

1. The Typography \/ Tron Logo<\/h3>\n

(I like the new typeface for the Tron logo only really keeping the O and N the same).<\/p>\n

2. Colours and film elements<\/h3>\n

Below are some key moments from the trailer. The neon glow is brought out really well with neon cyan and yellow the predominant colours.<\/p>\n

(digitalised lighting effects on the clouds).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

(glass \/ transparent circuit board style land).<\/p>\n

(awesome light cycles – now without a fixed 90 degree turning angles).<\/p>\n
